Last month the guys from Paws invited me to help assist on their 3rd album produced by Mark Hoppus and engineered by James Ingram. Last Wednesday - Saturday we recorded drums at Chem19, then headed to the middle of the country side in SW England to track everything else. We’re currently driving to the studio to start day 2 of recording in England and I can’t wait to start the day. The album already sounds amazing! I’m so excited to hear the finished result.

Tonight @wehavepaws opened for a (almost?) sold out Alkaline Trio show with Lagwagon that was totally amazing!! I’m so incredibly excited for these guys to be playing such a bill and even more excited about tomorrow when they start recoding album number 3 with Mark Hoppus! I’ve only known these guys for a couple of weeks and already they’re some of the nicest and most humble people I’ve ever met in my life. Everyone should check out this band! They 500% deserve what’s happening right now. Thanks for an awesome night guys!

Also, thanks to Cisco from my favourite Italian band Vanilla Sky (who coincidentally also worked with Mark on a song) for asking me to hang out at the show while visiting on Holiday. Was super cool to talk with him - what a nice guy.
